UKRI-FAPESP lead agency agreement

UKRI and the Brazilian funding agency FAPESP have a lead agency agreement which allows for collaboration; FAPESP only funds universities in the state of São Paulo. You can find more information on UKRI's website: working with researchers in Brazil.

UKRI project co-lead (international)

UKRI’s project co-lead (international) policy allows international collaborators to be costed into grants at up to 30% of the total cost of the project. This cap can be lifted for collaborations with low and middle-income countries (LMICs). You should check the call guidelines of the call you are applying to for confirmation of this.

Academic exchange

The Royal Society runs an annual scheme to support new research collaborations with academics overseas. See the International Exchanges website for detailed guidelines on this opportunity.
