Fellowships

Fellowships

There are several prestigious fellowships enabling academic staff to attract world-leading researchers to the UK, or to support the development of outstanding researchers here in the UK. The list below covers some of the more high profile schemes.

Incoming fellows will need to identify a host academic at Leeds. Once that person has been identified and a joint project agreed upon, the Leeds-based academic should talk to their Head of School to ensure that relevant resources are available e.g. office/lab space. Once the Leeds host is confirmed and has internal approval, they should help to connect the incoming fellow with colleagues in the Faculty Research and Innovation Office (FRIO).

Leeds academics who want to apply for a personal fellowship should access relevant support from their Head of School, RIS, and FRIO.

OD&PL have a suite of resources to support academics in applying for fellowships: applying for fellowships and grants.
